i'm chill caterpillar. my friends call me cat.

i study computer science. i also make music, which is the part i'd rather talk about. lofi mostly. chillhop, jazz beats, chill sounds. stuff to study to, or relax to, or leave on and forget about, which is honestly the best compliment.

i make it in the studio at my place. too many plants in there. the lava lamp was a mistake i've decided to keep.

i play the ukulele. i skate, i surf, i snowboard when i get the chance, i game with the crew most nights. i take photos, badly, constantly. i like anime and manga and board games and pretty much all music.

most days look about the same. headphones on, work on something. skate to the record shop if the weather's decent. café in the afternoon, laptop, not much of a plan. come home, make a beat, don't finish it, come back three days later and finish it in twenty minutes.

my apartment, the studio, the café i go to more than i should, the record shop, the skate park, the few streets in between. that's the whole map. everything i make comes from somewhere in those six blocks.

i compiled my code on the first try once. didn't know what to do with the rest of the evening.

i've been thinking about how the last song on an album always hits different.

some days i'm on the roof at sunset feeling every feeling at once. some days the crew's over and it's loud and stupid and good.

there's merch too. totes, tees, stickers, pins, plushies, records. made to be carried around and actually used. if it gets scuffed, that means it went places.

anyway. put something on. stay a while.
